Marcia Snyder - Online Memorial Website

     Marcia Snyder, 78, of Peoria, passed away on Tuesday, July 24, 2017, at her residence.
     A Memorial Mass will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at Holy Family Church in Peoria, with the Franciscan Friars celebrating the Mass. Visitation will be one hour prior to the Mass at church. Inurnment will be at Lutheran Cemetery.
     Marcia was born on October 11, 1938 in Ewen, MI, a daughter of Hugh and Mary (Crabb) Scott. They preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her sons, Steve and Scott Willock.
     She is survived by her daughter, Lynn Willock of Peoria; siblings, Charlene (Verne) Cutler of Milwaukee, WI and David Yaunke of Port Washington, WI; grandchildren, Nick and Anthony Cheesman, Jake (Sarah) Willock and Michelle Bates; and three great grandchildren.
     Marcia worked at Neil’s Appliance in Pekin for sixteen years. She retired in 2006. She volunteered at Catholic Charities Food Pantry for ten years and at Sophia’s Kitchen for five years. She most recently volunteered for Pets for Seniors. She was a member of the Mary and Martha Society.
     Memorial contributions may be made in Marcia’s memory to OSF Hospice, Holy Family Church, OSF Children’s Hospital of Illinois or American Cancer Society.
